We are confident that she will create a strong foundation for our youngest learners and continue to set the standard for excellence in our district.”

Rodriguez will begin her appointment on July 1, 2025.

District 41 broke ground on its full-day kindergarten center in August. The kindergarten center initiative was first approved in June 2023 and includes an 12-classroom expansion of Churchill School that will allow for students throughout the district to participate in full-day kindergarten. Half-day kindergarten will remain an option.

It's expected the Kindergarten Center will be ready to welcome its first students by fall of 2025.
