Downed Power Lines May Close Park Boulevard For Most Of Tuesday
Part of Park Boulevard was closed Tuesday after a garbage truck pulled down power lines, Deputy Chief Kurt Vavra told Patch.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Downed power lines will likely close part of Park Boulevard for "most of the day," according to an update from the Glen Ellyn Police Department.
Deputy Chief Kurt Vavra told Patch that ComEd told police Park Boulevard may be closed in both directions between Roosevelt Road and Pershing Avenue until 10 p.m.
Tuesday. Vavra said the power lines and poles were pulled down after a garbage truck's bucket inadvertently hooked the lines. He added that the incident led to broke "multiple poles."
