FBI Releases Photo Of Lombard Armed Bank Robbery Suspect
The agency is offering a $1,000 reward for information about a man they said robbed the Chase bank on East Roosevelt Road on Wednesday.

LOMBARD, IL — The FBI has released a photo of the suspect who is wanted in the armed robbery of a Lombard Chase bank on Wednesday and that prompted the federal agency to offer a $1,000 reward for the man’s capture.
Authorities said that they are seeking an unknown suspect who is between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10 tall and who has a slim build, the FBI said on Thursday. The person is wanted in connection with the armed robbery, which Lombard police said took place at 12:21 p.m. on Wednesday at the Chase bank in the 200 block of East Roosevelt Road.
According to the FBI, the suspect was seen wearing a black beanie hat, a blue face mask, a tan-colored jacket, dark-colored pants and black shoes.

Just before 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, officials said that based on witness descriptions of a suspect and vehicle, police and the FBI were able to locate and interview a person of interest. However, that person has been cleared of involvement in the robbery, village officials said.
The robbery led officials to put two local schools on a soft lockdown, before police cleared the area later on Wednesday afternoon.
