Flat Track Roller Derby Schedules – February Edition

Plenty to pick from in February!

Three derby dates are on the schedule for the Chicagoland area!

Exciting News! February 25th starts the inaugural season of Chicago-Style Roller Derby. Created from the merger of the Chicago Outfit and DuPage Derby Dames, this team has a lot of derby history behind it. They are coming in hot as they take on the visiting Madison, Wisconsin, Unholy Rollers – a great way to start a new legacy! The second game of their doubleheader promises to be a lot of fun, with audience participation in the action. New and veteran Chicago-Style skaters will participate in a derby fundraiser where audience members can buy points for their favorite team and request rule changes for jams! The action starts at 6:00 PM at the Coachlite Roller Rink in Roselle, IL.

On Saturday, February 18, the Windy City Rollers will once again take to the track. WCR home teams are featured in a double header, with the Double Crossers facing The Fury and the Manic Attackers taking on Hell’s Belles. These competitive bouts will be held at the Max McCook Athletic and Exposition Center.

Also on February 18, the Chicago Knockouts will be at their fighting best at the Homewood Auditorium. You can be sure to see a few elbows (and likely a few headlocks!) in this rematch of the Crushers and Punishers. The penalty box can get quite crowded in this highly entertaining bout.
