Glenbard South High School in Glen Ellyn ranked in the Top 50 Illinois high schools based on standardized test scores, according to a Chicago Sun-Times report released Thursday.

South was ranked 41, up from its 2012 ranking of 51 and its 2011 ranking of 64.
