Here Are All The Activities Planned For Glen Ellyn Holiday Walk

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Glen Ellyn's Holiday Walk will be held Nov. 28 and several area businesses are featuring holiday-themed activities to celebrate the annual tree lighting and Santa visit. Among the offerings, residents can visit an ultra-festive holiday popup at Reserve 22, write letters to Santa at A la Main and see a live Nativity scene at First Presbyterian Church.

The Holiday Walk opens at 5 p.m. and Santa Claus will light the village's holiday tree at 6 p.m. From 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., kids can sip hot chocolate and get their photo taken with Santa at the nearby fire station.

A la Main: Kids can write letters to Santa. Snacks and refreshments will be available.

Chocolaterie Stam: Chocolaterie Stam will be serving hot chocolate on Main Street

Elite Mean Market: The store will offer $10 off any food purchases $50 or more.

First Presbyterian Church: From 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., visitors can enjoy holiday goodies and see a live nativity scene with animals.

Glen Ellyn Fair Trade: Customers can get 20 percent off purchases on Nov. 28 and Nov. 29

Glen Ellyn Public Library: From 2 p.m. to 4:45 p.m., the library will feature live holiday music, Christmas crafts, handball, crafts and other activities.

Main Street Pub: Main Street Pub will open at 10 a.m. to serve a Black Friday brunch.

Renew: The Sugar Plum Fairy will stop at Renew, where the first 15 customers to buy an item will receive a gift and other items will be 20 percent off between 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

TKS Design Group: TKS Design Group will pass out holiday-themed cookies for the Holiday Walk.

Throughout December, Glen Ellyn will feature other ways to celebrate the season, including free holiday films at Glen Art Theatre and a Holiday Lights Contest.
