Judges To Take Part In Forum In Glen Ellyn

Judge Bonnie Wheaton and retired Judge Tom Dudgeon will take part in the Sept. 4 forum, hosted by League of Women Voters Glen Ellyn/Elmhurst

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Two local judges will take part in a forum on Sept. 4 to give residents a chance to learn more about the judicial system. The event, hosted by the League of Women Voters of Glen Ellyn and Elmhurst, will be held at Hadley Junior High School.

In attendance will be Judge Bonnie Wheaton, who serves on the 18th Judicial Court of DuPage County. Throughout her nearly 40-year career, Wheaton has worked in law, misdemeanor, chancery and traffic, according to a news release.

Retired Judge Tom Dudgeon will also take part in the forum. Dudgeon also served on the 18th Judicial Court of DuPage County, with a longtime focus on family law. His experience also includes teaching university-level law courses.
