Kids Color Bash Run Slated For Aug. 6 In Glen Ellyn
Kids ages four to 10 will run through Ackerman Park and get sprayed by four different colors during the 1.25-mile Kids Color Bash.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — Kids will dash through Ackerman Park, getting sprayed by four bright colors along the way during the 2K Kids Color Bash Run on Aug. 6.
The 1.25-mile race will kick off at 9 a.m. and is open to children ages four to 10 years old. Runners will compete in the following age groups: four to five years old, six to seven years old, eight to 10 years old. The top three participants in each gender and age group will receive a prize.
The cost to take part in the race is as follows:

- Through July 23: $25 for residents and $37 for nonresidents
- July 24 through July 31: $30 for residents and $42 for nonresidents
The first 400 runners will receive a souvenir T-shirt, a timing bib and access to "colorful events" after the race, per a notification from Glen Ellyn Park District. Click the link to register for the 2K Kids Color Bash Run.
