Kids, Stuffed Animals Invited To Teddy Bear Picnic In Lombard
Kids can bring a lunch and their beloved stuffie(s) to enjoy storytime, a parade and more at Sheldon Peck Homestead.
LOMBARD, IL — Stuffed animals and their kiddie caretakers are invited to attend a special Teddy Bear Picnic at Sheldon Peck Homestead on Aug. 10.
The festivities will include a parade, storytime and an appearance by The Natural Naturalist, Kim White, who brings parrots, frogs, turtles and other animals to special events.
Kids are encouraged to bring a lunch, along with their favorite stuffies and any strollers or fancy sports cars to help ferry around their stuffed animals during the parade. Cookies and lemonade will be served with lunch.
