Main Street Parking Lot Now Closed For Construction

With construction of Apex 400 and the adjacent parking garage expected to commence soon, installation began on fencing surrounding the Main Street parking lot on September 1. The parking lot is now closed until the spring, when the new customer parking garage on Main Street will open. Residents and visitors to the downtown should note the following adjustments to parking:

• Main Street will remain open at Hillside Avenue for curbside pick-up and customer parking.
  • Utilizing parking spaces on Main Street will require a three-point-turn to exit back onto Hillside Avenue. Please follow directional signage in this area.
  • Please note that parking spaces on Main Street are a combination of curbside pick-up (15 minute) and one hour customer parking.
  • The one hour customer parking spots will transition to curbside pick-up parking (15 minutes) from 5 - 8 p.m. daily.
• Customer parking and curbside pick-up is available on both Hillside Avenue and Duane Street for customers visiting the restaurants and businesses in this area.
• Customers are encouraged to take advantage of the ample parking available in the commuter lots. Reference the Park by the Path map which highlights the parking lots available to customers for unlimited daytime parking both during the week and on weekends.
• Parking extends to Phillips Avenue as well as Forest Avenue for downtown customer street parking.

The Village is continuing to evaluate, explore and adjust ways to improve and maximize downtown parking opportunities. Utilize the below maps for reference when parking in the downtown:
