Maintenance To Close Part Of Crescent Boulevard In Glen Ellyn

Part of Crescent Boulevard will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic starting Monday.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Part of Crescent Boulevard will be closed Monday as crews perform a water service upgrade in downtown Glen Ellyn.

Crescent Boulevard will be closed from Glenwood Avenue to Main Street Oct. 11. Part of the north sidewalk on Crescent Boulevard will be closed to pedestrian traffic Monday and Tuesday, with signs posted to indicate the closures.

The closures will begin at 6 a.m., but the road will likely reopen before evening, news release said. Businesses in the area will remain open regardless of the road and sidewalk closures.
