McMae's On Main Now Open In Glen Ellyn

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Diners in downtown Glen Ellyn have a new place to sate their pub fare cravings now that McMae's on Main has opened its doors in the former Wooden Barrel Bar & Grill building. The restaurant is an offshoot of McMae's Tavern & Grill, which has been a go-to spot for shoppers and diners in Bartlett.

McMae's on Main takes a cue fro its sister restaurant by serving up casual pub fare in a laidback setting. A bright red door greets you as you arrive at the downtown tavern. The door is a holdover from Wooden Barrel, which closed in 2016.

Inside, big-screen TVs play news and sports as customers drink drafts at high-top tables and a modest wooden bar.

The menu features Reubens, pot roast sliders, slow-cooked ribs, and other tempting items that you'll find at the Bartlett location as well.

Mae's on Main is conveniently located in downtown Glen Ellyn, right around the corner from St. Mark's Episcopal Church.
