No More Liquor Reimbursements at College of DuPage?
After recent news of nearly $200,000 in expenses over 500 days, college officials may stop reimbursing liquor purchases.

Just days after a it was revealed that $190,000 was spent on 500 occasions at the College of DuPage Waterleaf Restaurant by President Robert Breuder, trustees and senior managers, the college might ban reimbursements of alcohol purchases.
“In a memo to the board of trustees, obtained by the (Chicago) Tribune, Chairwoman Erin Birt wrote that she was “deeply troubled” by recent events and had authorized the drafting of a policy that would prohibit employees from expensing alcohol purchases,” The Chicago Tribune is reporting. “The memo said she also had ordered a review of all travel and dining expense policies.”
Bills from food and liquor purchases at Waterleaf were paid from the school’s general fund. The general fund includes local property tax, state and tuition revenue.
