Outstanding Warrant Leads to Arrest at Glenbard West

Aqib J. Bari, 18, of the 2N400 block of Virginia in Glen Ellyn was taken into custody after dropping off a sibling at Glenbard West High School on March 3 for a warrant issued in Glendale Heights for Retail Theft.  Police said that the liaison officer at Glenbard West recognized Bari, as a former student, as well as that Bari had an outstanding warrant. While in custody, the liaison officer discovered cannabis and drug paraphernalia and Bari was issued Village Ordinance citations for Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bari was also served a Notice of Trespass from Glenbard West, warning him that he would be arrested if he returned to the school.
