GLEN ELLYN, IL — With the weather improving, the Glen Ellyn Park District has started work to revamp Panfish Park. The project will add new playground equipment and a picnic shelter to the park, which is located at 620 Wilson Ave.

The park district began getting feedback about Panfish Park in 2022 and 2023, following a partnership with the village of Glen Ellyn involving the redevelopment of the former U.S. Bank site on Forest Avenue.

Panfish Park's current playground equipment dates back to 1996. The new playground equipment will have ADA-accessible fixtures, according to an update from the park district.
