Paris Baguette To Host Grand Opening Of Glen Ellyn Store

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Strawberry croissants, pineapple brulee pastries, sticky milk buns and tiramisu tarts are just a smattering of the sweet treats on offer at Paris Baguette. The South Korean-based café and bakery, which draws inspiration from French and world cuisine, will host a grand opening for its Glen Ellyn store on Dec. 12 at 549 Roosevelt Rd.

The menu at Paris Baguette is extensive, offering pastries, cakes, donuts, freshly baked breads, savory items, breakfast bites and more.

Diners with a sweet tooth can choose from a selection that includes sweet rice donuts, mochi donuts and croissant donuts. Crepe cakes, tiramisu cakes, blueberry chiffon cakes, ganache cream cakes and more may be ordered whole or by the slice, depending on the flavor.

The bakery's croissants, baguettes and other housemade breads serve as the ideal base for sandwiches that run the gamut from grilled cheese and chicken salad sandwiches to veggie goat cheese pizzetta and smoked sausage bread. The diverse array also includes curry croquettes and chicken Caesar wraps.

Paris Baguette's café drinks offer pickmeups in the form of lattes, macchiatos, espressos, cold brews and teas. Frappés, smoothies and grab and go treats are also available.

Ahead of its grand opening, Paris Baguette is encouraging visitors to download the rewards app to receive a complimentary pastry with their purchase.

The Glen Ellyn location is one of eight stores that Paris Baguette has opened throughout Illinois, including one inside H Mart in Naperville. In Glen Ellyn, the café and bakery will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
