Park District Announces New Superintendent
Dan Hopkins is the Glen Ellyn Park District's new Superintendent of Parks.

The is pleased to announce that Dan Hopkins has joined the staff is its new Superintendent of Parks.
Dan brings 15 years of extensive experience to his new position, including five years with the Village of Hinsdale as its superintendent of parks and horticulture, and six with Salt Lake City Parks and Recreation that included supervising special events at the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.
Dan holds a bachelor of science in plant and soil science with a specialization in landscape horticulture/design from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He holds national certification from several organizations, including the National Playground Safety Institute and the International Society of Arborculture. He is also Midwest Ecological Prescription Burn Certified.
We are excited to have him join the Glen Ellyn Park District and extend a warm welcome to Dan.
