Police Investigating String of Residential Burglaries
Glen Ellyn police are investigating a string of residential burglaries that occurred this week and seem to target jewelry and credit cards.

Glen Ellyn police are investigating a string of five residential burglaries which occurred over the past week and seem to target jewelry and credit cards, the department said today in a press release.
According to the release, all the burglaries occurred in single-family homes and when the occupants were not home. Police said that at least four of the burglaries are believed to have been committed by the same person and that all occurred sometime during the day.
Homes that police believe are connected are located on the 700 block of Meredith Pl., the 200 block of Bryant Ave., the 700 block of Riford Rd. and the 800 and 1000 block of Crescent Blvd.

Police are reminding homeowners to lock their doors when they leave and to keep an eye out for suspicious activity.
