Residents Can Help Workshop East Branch DuPage River Trail At Meeting

LOMBARD, IL — Residents can share their input and learn more about plans for the East Branch DuPage River Trail at an upcoming meeting in Lombard. The meeting will be held April 29 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Butterfield Park District.

Concepts for the East Branch river trail are being developed by the DuPage County Division of Transportation. The planned 28-mile trail will wend along the river's eastern branch, extending it south to Butterfield Road from St. Charles Road.

The extended trail will be usable by pedestrians and bicyclists, according to information on the project's website.
