The projects will be partially funded by the Illinois Department of Transportation.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Village trustees recently approved construction engineering service agreements and joint funding agreements for resurfacing projects on Lambert and Riford Roads. At the Sept. 22 village meeting, the measures received unanimous approval.
The proposed work involves resurfacing and repairs on Lambert Road between Woodcroft Drive and Roosevelt Road and on Riford Road between Crescent Boulevard and St. Charles Road. Priorities include asphalt resurfacing, curb, sidewalk and gutter improvements and pavement markings, along with root pruning and tree protection.
IDOT will bid the work out on behalf of Glen Ellyn on Nov. 7 and will award the contract for construction, with Glen Ellyn repaying their part of the costs. The village will pay for the project's construction engineering and will be reimbursed by IDOT.
