Rock Out While Supporting The Glen Ellyn Food Pantry On Sept. 17
"Rockin' for the Pantry," set to take place on Hunger Action Day, will feature bands from Glen Ellyn's School of Rock.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — The Glen Ellyn Food Pantry is inviting the public to mark Hunger Action Day in September by attending "Rockin' for the Pantry," an evening of fun and music.
The concert will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17 in the parking lot of Faith Lutheran Church, 41 N. Park Blvd., Glen Ellyn. Bands from Glen Ellyn's School of Rock will perform rock 'n' roll music from across the decades.
Guests are encouraged to bring chairs and picnic baskets and sit under the stars at their cars or close to the stage. The Pantry is requesting donations of cans of tuna or chicken and asking everyone to wear orange – the color of hunger relief – to the concert, Laura Glaza, executive director of the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry, said in an email.
