Sober Holiday Driving Encouraged Amid Increased Patrols In DuPage County

The DuPage County Sheriff's Office will be targeting impaired driving during its 2025 holiday safety campaign.

DUPAGE COUNTY — The DuPage County Sheriff's Office (DCSO) will have extra patrols on duty to target drunk and unsafe drivers for its holiday safety campaign.

"This season let's make safety our shared priority," Undersheriff Eddie Moore said in a statement.

He added, "If you plan to drink or use impairing substances, plan for a sober ride home and always wear your seat belt. Driving impaired isn't just dangerous; it's unacceptable. We'll be out in full force, and no excuses will be accepted."
