SportsSwap Offers Lightly Used Equipment, Gear For Kids' Sports

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Lightly used sports equipment, protective gear for children will be available when the Glen Ellyn Park District hosts a SportSwap event on July 13. The event will be held from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Ackerman Sports & Fitness Center.

The assortment will include baseball bats and mitts, tennis rackets, hockey sticks, balls, shoes, clothes and more. The items will be available for purchase with " fantastic deals" for shoppers, a news release said.

Equipment, clothing and gear can also be donated at the event, as long as they are clean and in good condition. Click the link to see which items can be donated at SportSwap.

Parents can also donate items between between July 7 and July 11 at Ackerman Sports & Fitness Center to receive a voucher that can be used toward equipment at the SportSwap event.
