GLEN ELLYN, IL — Glen Ellyn recently landed on Travel + Leisure's roundup of the 9 Best Places to Live in the U.S. The publication polled experts with real estate experience throughout the country to create the list.

According to Travel + Leisure, these are the 9 Best Places to Live in the U.S.

1. Carmel, Indiana

2. Boise, Idaho

3. Fort Lauderdale, Florida

4. Raleigh, North Carolina

5. Greenville, South Carolina

6. Bentonville, Arkansas

7. Rhinebeck, New York

8. Glen Ellyn, Illinois

9. Austin, Texas

Patrick Roach, who is the president and managing broker for Southwestern Real Estate, told Travel + Leisure “Naperville regularly makes the short list of ideal family-friendly towns in America. But I’m here to tell you that Glen Ellyn is even better."

Roach added that the village has "everything a family would want" and praised Glenbard West High School as "iconic."
