GLEN ELLYN, IL — Superheroes, princesses and other costumed characters will be on hand during the Glen Ellyn Park District's Toys for Tots Drive on Dec. 7. The drive will be held at Ackerman SFC, 800 St. Charles Rd. Toys must be new and unwrapped and should be suitable for children up to 12 years old. Stuffed animals will not be accepted by Toys for Tots, according to the park district website. During the drive, kids can take photos with characters as part of a partnership with the <a href="https://www.leagueofenchantment.org/chicago" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">League of Enchantment Chicago</a>, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that brings beloved characters to events, local hospitals, fundraising walks and other community events.
