Glen Ellyn police were called to the 600 block of Kenilworth Ave. on March 15 around 10:45 a.m. to look into a report of criminal damage to a resident's property.
The resident told police that Daniel J. Truesdale, 27, and James B. Truesdale, 62, both of the 1000 block of Madsen in Wheaton, had come onto his property and tried to cut one of his trees down.
Both Truesdales were given Village Ordinance citations for Criminal Damage to Property.

Police discovered a tree stump and a 20-foot-long tree and said the men wanted the wood for a project they were working on.
