Trustee Simon Named Acting Village President Of Glen Ellyn

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Glen Ellyn Trustee Donna Simon has been named acting village president following the recent resignation of village president Mark Senak.

"I especially appreciate the serenity, security, and safety of Glen Ellyn. During all my years of travel, the more I traveled, the more I appreciated Glen Ellyn. It was a welcome respite," Simon said in a statement."

She added, "This is a community that has so many wonderful benefits. Its history and feeling of community are aspects that need to be honored and protected."

Simon, who has been a trustee since 2023, founded Quest International LLC and has practiced real estate and corporate law. She will fill the role of acting village president through the end of May 2025.
