Turkey Trot Four-Mile Run Set For Thanksgiving In Glen Ellyn
Prizes will be doled out for standout costumes and runners are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for Glen House Food Pantry.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — The Turkey Trot Four-Mile Run returns to Glen Ellyn on Thanksgiving, Nov. 27. In addition to competing for an impressive race time, runners are encouraged to predict their times and don turkey hats, faux feathers and other festive attire for a chance to win a prize for Best Costume.
The race starts at 8 a.m. and the route heads up Lenox Road before making its way through the village, returning to the park to wrap up. Runners are encouraged to head to the Lake Ellyn Boathouse between 7 a.m. and 7:55 a.m. on race day to sign waivers and predict their times.
There's no fee to enter Glen Ellyn's Turkey Trot.
