Two Hound Red To Host Glen Ellyn Oktoberfest

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Two Hound Read will host the Glen Ellyn Oktoberfest Sept. 18 through Sept. 20. The three-day eevent will feature live entertainment, German cuisine and more.

The menu includes schnitzel, bratwurst and German-style pretzels. Diners can pair their eats with seasonal selections, such as Two Hound Red's Oktoberfest. The brewery's menu describes the beer as having "a malt-forward flavor" and "a bread crust-like finish."

Souvenir mugs will be available for purchase for $15 each and can be refilled for $10, the event's Facebook page said.

The weekend's live entertainment schedule is as follows.

Sept. 18

7 p.m. to 9 p.m.: Trivia

Sept. 19

8 p.m. to 11 p.m.: Barry Dupuy

Sept. 20

6:30 p.m.: Slakers Unite Band

7:30 p.m.: The Lip & Side Hustle

9 p.m.: DJ music

Attendees are encouraged to wear their best Oktoberfest attire and participate in the costume contest.
