GLEN ELLYN, IL — Visits and pictures with Santa are treasured traditions for many Glen Ellyn families. For them, there’s nothing quite like seeing jolly old St. Nick live and in person.
In Glen Ellyn, kids have several chances:
- Donuts with Santa at Lake Ellyn Boathouse: Dec. 1 at 5:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.; Dec. 2 at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., or 12:30 p.m.
- Polar Express PJ Party with Santa: Dec. 8 at 6 p.m.
- Sports and Fun with Santa:Dec. 16 at 10 a.m.
- Santa on the Stoop: Santa makes house calls Dec. 16 and Dec. 17
Santa arrived Nov. 5 at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Santa’s Wonderland and will hold court through Christmas Eve. Reservations are encouraged.

Santa will also be at Macy’s stores in New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Orlando. In Chicago, Santa will be at Macy's through Christmas Eve. Reservations are required
