1 Hospitalized After Train Crashes With Car In Glenview: Police
Several railroad crossings were closed following the early morning incident.
GLENVIEW, IL — One person was hospitalized following a crash between a vehicle and a train Saturday morning. The incident occurred at around 4:11 a.m. at the 1100 block of Depot Street.
According to Glenview police, the driver of the car was taken to Lutheran General Hospital by the Glenview Fire Department in stable condition.
The railroad crossings at Glenview Road, Dewes Street, and Chestnut Avenue were closed during the investigation, but have been reopened and are clear.
