GLENVIEW, IL — Italian cuisine is synonymous with the holidays, so it's a perfect time for a new Italian market to open in the village. Sorelle, which has a location in Long Grove that opened last year, recently joined the local business community at 1941 Tower Drive in The Glen.

"Their classic Italian meals feature ingredients imported from Italy, ready to eat at the restaurant or to take home," the Glenview Chamber of Commerce said of Sorelle Italian Market & Cafe. "Enjoy fresh baked bread and pastries, Italian style pizza, gourmet sandwiches and paninis, pasta, delectable desserts, alcohol, gelato and more."

The Chamber held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening.
