2 Arrested For Driving Under The Influence On Same Road: Blotter
Both men were arrested the night of Dec. 21 after traffic stops in the 800 block of Milwaukee Avenue: Glenview Police Blotter.

- William G. Bergen, 64, of Glenview is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage, and driving without lights. Bergen was arrested on Dec. 21 at 8:30 p.m. in the 800 block of Milwaukee Avenue after a traffic stop, and was released after posting his driver's license and $1,000. He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 24.
- Carlos Hernandez, 28, of Des Plaines is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving, speeding 35+ mph, and improper lane usage. Hernandez was arrested on Dec. 21 at 10:18 p.m. in the 800 block of Milwaukee Avenue after a traffic stop, and was released after posting his driver's license and $1,000. He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 24.
LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT
Edmond R. Posada, 20, of Melrose Park is accused of leaving the scene of an accident — vehicle damage and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. The charges are the result of an investigation into an incident that occurred on Dec. 20 in the 2700 block of Patriot Boulevard, and Posada was arrested on Dec. 22 at 8:20 a.m. He was released on an I-bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 24.

SUSPENDED DRIVER'S LICENSE
Jessica Temich, 30, of Prospect Heights is accused of driving on a suspended driver's license, no valid driver's license, following too closely, and has a DuPage County warrant for failure to appear. She was arrested on Dec. 22 at 3:59 p.m. in the 1700 block of Milwaukee Avenue, and was held until a bond hearing on Jan. 23.
THEFT
Marivic C. Camarao, 47, of Niles is accused of theft. The charge is the result of an investigation, and she was arrested on Dec. 23 at 2:16 p.m. in the 0-100 block of Waukegan Road. She was released after posting a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 19.
INCIDENTS
SPEEDING
On Dec. 21 at 10:27 a.m., a resident of Wilmette was cited for speeding (26+ mph) after a traffic stop in the 1700 block of East Lake Avenue. The driver was released on an I-bond with a court date of Jan. 24.
On Dec. 21 at 4:03 p.m., a resident of Morton Grove was cited for Speeding (26+ mph) after a traffic stop in the 1700 block of East Lake Avenue. The driver was released after posting their driver’s license with a court date of Jan. 24.
On Dec. 22 at 7:53 a.m., a Skokie resident was cited for Speeding (26+ mph) after a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Waukegan Road. The driver posted their driver's license as bond and was given a court date of Jan. 24.
On Dec. 22 at 6:56 p.m., a Morton Grove resident was cited for Speeding (26+ mph) after a traffic stop in the 600 block of Greenwood Road. The driver was released on an I-bond with a
court date of Jan. 24.
On Dec. 23 at 11:38 a.m., a Glenview resident was cited for Speeding (26+ mph) after a traffic stop in the 2200 block of East Lake Avenue. The driver was released after posting their driver's license with a court date of Jan. 24.
AGGRAVATED IDENTITY THEFT
On Dec. 21 at 9:30 a.m., a Glenview resident reported losing their wallet in the parking lot in the 1300 block of Patriot Boulevard the day before. The resident learned a credit card within the wallet was used by an unknown person at several stores in the area. Total reported loss is $1,300.
RETAIL THEFT
On Dec. 22 at 9:13 a.m., an employee of a business in the 2800 block of Patriot Boulevard reported seeing a subject exit the emergency doors on the north side of the building. The subject was pushing a shopping cart full of products. The subject was last seen walking westbound. Total loss is unknown at this time.
TRESPASSING
On Dec. 22 at 7:55 p.m., an employee of a hotel in the 1800 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported a subject smoking in the lobby bathroom and attempting to steal items from the front desk. The subject was identified and given a trespass warning.
On Dec. 26 at 12:34 p.m., an employee of a hotel in the 1400 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported two guests were smoking in their room and then became disruptive when they were told to stop. The subjects were given a trespass warning to not return to the hotel and left without incident.
THEFT
On Dec. 23 at 5:47 p.m., a resident in the 2600 block of Summit Drive reported that they received a telephone call from an unknown male on Dec. 21 who stated someone withdrew $15,000 from their bank account. The resident was instructed to purchase $5,000 worth of Macy's gift cards to fix the problem. The resident realized they were scammed when the male asked for more gift cards. Total reported loss is $5,000.
On Dec. 25 at 2:27 p.m. hours, a Wheeling resident reported a fur coat was stolen from a room in
an assisted living facility in the 1500 block of Greenwood Road. Total reported loss is $2,000.
THEFT OF VEHICLE PARTS
On Dec. 23 at 8:52 p.m., a Mundelein resident reported leaving their vehicle in the parking lot in the 2300 block of Capital Drive from Dec. 22 at 2 p.m. until Dec. 23 at 8:50 p.m. When they started the vehicle, it made a loud noise, and they knew an unknown offender had stolen the catalytic convertor. Total reported loss is $1,200.
ROBBERY
On Dec. 25 at 6:56 p.m., an employee in the 3500 block of Milwaukee Avenue reported a male subject attempted to steal two cans and one bottle of alcohol from the business. Another employee attempted to stop the subject and the subject hit the employee in the face with the bottle of alcohol. The subject fled the scene. Total reported loss is $40.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
On Dec. 26 at 12:46 p.m., a resident in the 1800 block of Prairie Street reported a rock was used to break the rear window of their vehicle while it was parked in the 1100 block of Depot Street. The damage occurred sometime between Dec. 25 at 9 p.m. and Dec. 26 at 12:40 p.m. Total reported loss is $300.
On Dec. 26 at 12:53 p.m., an employee in the 2900 block of Patriot Boulevard reported an unknown subject "keyed" the driver's side and passenger side of their vehicle on two separate days. Total reported loss is $3,000.
SUSPENDED DRIVER'S LICENSE
On Dec. 26 at 9:57 p.m., a Chicago resident was cited for Driving with a Suspended Driver's License and Speeding (35+ mph) after a traffic stop in the 2400 block of Sanders Road. The driver was released on an I-bond with a court date of Jan. 19.
On Dec. 27 at 8:39 p.m., a Glenview resident was cited for Driving with a Suspended Driver's License and Speeding (15-20 mph) after a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road. The driver was released on an I-bond with a court date of Feb. 10.
CRIMINAL TRESPASSING
On Dec. 27 at 4:08 p.m., an employee of a business in the 300 block of Waukegan Road reported a customer was yelling, swearing, and refusing to leave the business. The customer was given a trespass warning not to return to the business and left without incident.
