2nd Arrest Made In Armed Robbery Of Residents At Glenview Home: Police

Two residents were robbed at gunpoint in April before the group drove off in a Jaguar. Two of the three men involved have now been arrested.

GLENVIEW, IL — A second arrest has been made following an April incident in which two residents were robbed at gunpoint while returning to their Glenview home. The three men involved drove off in a Jaguar SUV.

Amarion Ray-Williams, 21, of the 15100 block of Beachview Terrace, Dolton, was taken into custody Monday by the Chicago Police Department and the United States Marshal Service for a Glenview arrest warrant. He was charged with armed robbery with a firearm. He is being held in the Cook County Jail and is due in court Tuesday, according to Glenview police.

The arrest follow that of Angelo B. Hatter, 26, of the 50 block of N. Latrobe Avenue, Chicago, earlier this month, who was charged with armed robbery with a firearm. He is also currently being held in the Cook County Jail and is due back in court on July 2.

According to police, the incident occurred at 10:04 p.m. April 21, in the 1700 block of Bluestem Lane. An investigation revealed a male and female, who had returned home, were approached by the group.

The men displayed handguns and demanded the victims' belongings. The two gave up their belongings, and the three men then fled in a Jaguar SUV. Neither victim was injured during the encounter. The vehicle was later located, unoccupied, in the 4300 block of Federal Street in Chicago.

All three men were wearing black face coverings and dark clothing. This incident is being investigated by Glenview Police detectives. Police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the Glenview Police Tip Line at 847-901-6055.
