Annual Fall River Cleanup Planned For Glenview: Village

Officials said the goal is to help beautify the West Fork of the North Branch of the Chicago River.

GLENVIEW, IL — The Village of Glenview is once again holding its annual Fall River Cleanup. Sponsored by the Environment and Natural Resources Commission, the goal is to help beautify the West Fork of the North Branch of the Chicago River.

The cleanup begins at 9 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, with participants meeting up at the Kohl's parking lot off Willow Road.

Work will include trash pickup, brush cutting and weed removal. Work gloves and trash bags will be provided.
