Annual National Night Out Connects Glenview Public Safety Officials With Community

Residents will get a chance to show community spirit, get to know the people who help keep Glenview safe, and enjoy a summer night out.

GLENVIEW, IL — The Glenview Police Department and Glenview Park District are once again inviting residents out to the annual National Night Out, scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 5, at Park Center, 2400 Chestnut Ave. The event runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

According to organizers, the event is part of a nationwide effort to strengthen the relationship between neighbors and public safety professionals.

"It’s a chance to show your community spirit, get to know the people who help keep Glenview safe, and enjoy a summer night out," an announcement reads on the Village of Glenview website.
