GLENVIEW, IL — We asked Glenview Patch readers this week to give us their best ice cream place recommendations. And the results on your favorite spots are now in.

The No. 1 vote-getter was Glenview Dairy Bar, followed by Oberweis Ice Cream and Culver's for the top three spots. Our reader's poll ran last Friday through Thursday.

Glenview Dairy Bar, located at 1015 Harlem Ave., Glenview, has been serving the North Shore since 1955.

Readers taking our poll raved about the service, taste of the ice cream and tradition at Glenview Dairy Bar.

"Great tasting ice cream, wide menu selection, family-owned and nice people," wrote one reader.
