Business Robbed of Computers, Manuals, Mirror
The odd assortment of stolen items totals about $6,500.

Theft
A business owner in the 1600 block of Milwaukee Avenue, reported numerous pieces of office equipment and legal documents missing from the manager’s office and front desk Oct. 3, including manuals, financial forms, transactions logs, two desktop and one laptop, and a calculator. Also missing from the front lobby was a wall mirror and serving table. Total loss is estimated at $6,500.

Burglary (Motor Vehicle)
Someone entered an unlocked van parked in a driveway in the 2900 block of Covert Rd. overnight Sept. 29, and stole over $2,000 worth of power tools and accessories.

Theft
A victim believes they lost a cellphone worth $650 in a business parking lot in the 1100 block of Waukegan Rd. Sept. 30. When they realized phone was lost, they used the “Find my Phone” app and it tracked the phone to a home on N. Wind River Ter. in Des Plaines.
Theft
A victim’s credit cards were fraudulently used at retail establishments in the 2200 block of Willow Rd. and 2500 block of Waukegan Rd.
Identity Theft
A Wisconsin resident reported being notified by credit card company about two fraudulent transactions that occurred at retail establishments in the 2200 block of Willow Rd. on Sept. 30 for $54 and $51. The person has never been to Glenview.
Retail Theft
A man stole liquor worth $63 from a store in the 1000 block of Waukegan Rd. at 5:45 p.m. Oct.1 and fled the area before police arrived.
Criminal Damage
Someone damaged a pane of glass at a business in the 2700 block of Patriot Blvd Oct. 2 with a small pellet projectile. Damage is estimated at $500.
Identity Theft
A resident reported that someone used their identity to try to file a 2013 income tax statement with the Indiana Department of Revenue. The person never resided in Indiana.
Check on Well Being
Officers responded to the 1200 block of Cedarwood Ln. Oct. 5 for an elderly person who suffers from dementia and entered a stranger’s car. The person was escorted back to their residence by officers and turned over to a care taker and family member.
Disorderly Conduct
Police received a report of a dispute at 9 p.m. Oct. 5 between two car loads of people in the 3600 block of Counrtyside Ln. One person had a bat and was hitting an unknown car. Officers could not locate the suspects or vehicles.
