GLENVIEW, IL—The Chicago Botanic Garden recently named Dr. Kenneth A. Krebs, DMD, of Glenview, as a recipient of this year’s "Volunteer of the Year Award" for his 2019 service.

According to the Garden, this award was initiated in 1984 to focus attention on the outstanding support given to the Chicago Botanic Garden each year by all volunteers, and to recognize the contribution of one special volunteer as an example of extraordinary service.

Dr. Krebs has volunteered for almost 15 years and contributes his talents as a grounds cover newsletter writer, and as a digital photographer with the living plant documentation team.
