The Chicago Cossacks: From Russia with Song
The Chicago Cossacks, a Russian music and dance ensemble performs a lively repertoire from Russia and eastern Europe with traditional instruments, along with Klezmer and Russian Gypsy melodies thrown into the mix. The group will perform at the Glenview Public Library Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m.
The Kohl Children's Museum
The museum will host three unique events today:
- Hoopster: Which way will the hula hoop roll? Navigate a hula hoop through an obstacle course in Habitat Park.
- Tree Extravaganza: It's time to go on a scavenger hunt! Use leaf guide cards to investigate and compare the many trees of Habitat Park.
- Will it Sink or Float?: Do you know what is inside of a golf ball? Explore and examine the inside and outside of balls and conduct a sink and float experiment.
