Coronavirus: Glenview Joins Blue Bow Initiative
Glenview residents are asked to tie blue bows on trees or on their mailbox to show support to first responders to the coronavirus.

GLENVIEW, IL — The village of Glenview is taking part in a local initiative to put up blue bows around town to show support for health care workers, public services employees and other front-line responders to the coronavirus. Residents are asked to tie a bow around a tree or their mailbox to show their gratitude.
Blue ribbons can be picked up at the drive-thru of Glenview Grind, 1837 Glenview Road.
Northbrook has been taking part in a similar initiative over the last few weeks. Toffee Break Desserts owner Robin Fields, who is spearheading efforts in Northbrook, said she has distributed roughly 1,000 bows and is packaging 1,000 more.
