Coronavirus: Glenview Hosting Photography Contest

The village of Glenview is hosting a photography contest so residents can capture the beauty of nature in spite of the coronavirus pandemic.

GLENVIEW — Although Illinois citizens still are urged to stay at home due to the coronavirus pandemic, the village of Glenview is hosting a photography contest to give residents a chance to capture the beauty of nature while practicing social distancing procedures. The contest, which is called "Snapshots while Social Distancing," has a $50 prize towards a Glenview restaurant or business of the winner's choosing.

The theme of the photography should be Glenview wildlife. Photos should be posted to social media with the village tagged and using the hashtags #HealthySixFeet and #BikeGlenview.

Submissions are due April 17 by 5 p.m. Residents then will vote on their favorite photo on April 20.
