Donation Scammers Wanted From Burglary In Niles Busted Here: Glenview Police Blotter
The three were previously in Niles and had conducted a donation transaction where they altered the amount charged.

GLENVIEW, IL — The following information comes from the Glenview Police Department (unless otherwise noted) and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. SUSPENDED DRIVER'S LICENSE

- Tracey M. Duty, 37, of the 10400 block of Michael Todd Terrace, Glenview, is accused of driving while license suspended, displaying a suspended driver's license, operating a motor vehicle with registration for no insurance, and was arrested at 6:15 p.m. June 23, following a traffic stop in the 600 block of Milwaukee Avenue. She was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 5.
- Dariel Rivera, 21, of the 300 block of 3rd Street, Glenview, is accused of driving while license suspended, no turn on red, failure to signal, operating a motor vehicle with registration suspended for no insurance, and was arrested at 7:11 p.m. June 23, following a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Waukegan Road. He was released and assigned a court date of July 23.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Brenna C. Doyle, 31, of Hobart, Indiana, is accused of driving under the influence of drugs or combination of drugs, and was arrested at 4:37 p.m. June 19, following a wellbeing check in the 3800 block of Willow Road. She was released and assigned a court date of Aug. 5.

INCIDENTS
RETAIL THEFT
Employees of a business in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported at 12:44 p.m. June 17, someone took items from the store without paying and enter a vehicle in the lot. Officers spoke with the person, who admitted to stealing shoes because they could not afford them. The person returned the shoes to the store and was given a trespass warning from employees not to return for one year.
PUBLIC INDECENCY
- A citizen reported at 5:22 p.m. June 17, seeing a heavy set white male urinating on the walking trail in the 1800 block of Westleigh Avenue. Officers were unable to locate the person.
- A citizen called police at 8:27 p.m. June 17, to report seeing a nude male in the backyard of a residence in the 1000 block of Rolling Pass. They said the male stood in the opening on the fence and was masturbating while staring at them. Officers were unable to make contact with anyone at the residence.
OBSTRUCTING IDENTIFICATION
Police responded to a business in the 0 block of Waukegan Road at 6:52 p.m. June 17, for a solicitor complaint, where three people were asking for donations wearing reflective vests. The three were previously in Niles and had conducted a donation transaction where they altered the amount charged. Officers detained two of them, who were positively identified as those wanted in Niles. The third person walked away in the parking lot and drove a vehicle away from the scene. Officers were unable to locate the third person or vehicle. One of the three provided a fake name and birthdate to officers initially, but eventually gave the correct information.
FLEEING POLICE
Police located a gray/silver Ford Explorer with no registration at 1:03 a.m. June 18, traveling eastbound East Lake Avenue from Shermer Road that had been involved in a commercial burglary at a car dealership in Northbrook. After police were behind the car, the Explorer accelerated to a high rate of speed and officers did not pursue the vehicle, which appeared to enter I-94 southbound.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY
Police responded to an alarm at a business in the 3500 block of Milwaukee Avenue on June 18 and found the front window shattered. Video surveillance shows a vehicle with two people exiting the car, while a third stayed in the driver’s seat. They used a tool to break the window and then entered the building, taking an unknown amount of liquor from the top shelf behind the counter, in addition to approximately $500 from the register. Approximate loss is $17,500.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
A resident of the 1300 block of Sherwood Road called police at 10:22 p.m. June 19, to report hearing a crash and found a broken window on the residence. A baseball bat was found nearby.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
A citizen called police at 2:34 p.m. June 23, to report someone was on the front porch of a home in the 1800 block of Prairie Street and were naked. Officers arrived and spoke with the resident who was inside wearing a shirt but no shorts with their genitalia exposed. The resident said they had been power washing and their shorts got wet, so they removed them. They were advised to stay clothed outside the residence, which they said they understood.
