GLENVIEW, IL — Glenview police released information about two arrests in the past several days. Charges listed do not indicate guilt.

Around 6:40 p.m., police responded to assist paramedics in the 300 block of Shermer Road. While there, they arrested Robert Liss, 60, of the 4200 block of West Lake Avenue, in relation to an elder neglect investigation.

The state's attorney's office on Tuesday approved a charge of criminal abuse and neglect of an elderly person.

Around 1:10 p.m., in the 9800 block of Milwaukee Avenue, police stopped "an excessively speeding car," which police say was going 35 mph or more over the speed limit. The driver, a 17-year-old boy, was released after posting his driver's license as bond.
