North Suburban YMCA Kindergarten Club Open House, August 4. Do you have a child in half-day kindergarten? Learn about the Y’s Kindergarten Club enrichment program at our open house on August 4 from 5:30 to 7:30pm. Kindergarten Club creates a fun, full-day experience to support your child’s social and academic development. Afternoon sessions are available, including transportation to/from Northbrook public schools as well as St. Norbert’s and Lyons School in Glenview. Hot lunches, snacks, and even swim lessons are all included! Also, check out Y-Time, the NSYMCA’s afterschool program for grades K-5. North Suburban YMCA “Party at the Y!” Cookout, August 7. The community is invited to the YMCA’s annual summer celebration and cookout on Thursday, August 7 from 6:00 to 8:00m. Free food and fun for the whole family, including facepainting, bounce houses, live music by Markette, and more. Hang out with your camp friends and counselors, or just come to see everything the Y has to offer. RSVP via the Y’s Facebook page to be eligible for special prizes!
