
Children, ages preschool to 9 years, are invited to step off the parade by bringing their decorated bike to Harlem Ave. between the Glenview Dairy Bar and the Library (Just North of Glenview Road) by 10:30 am. Free, no pre-registration required. Bike helmets are strongly recommended. Participation ribbons will be presented to all children. No judging involved.
Due to construction along Glenview Rd. in downtown Glenview, this year’s parade oute will begin at the intersection of Harlem Ave. and Glenview Rd. and travel south on Harlem before turning right (west) onto Central Rd. and ending at Johns Park.
Stay on the SafeSide. To ensure our parade remains safe and spectacular, this year’s parade route will be lined on both sides in red. Please be sure that your family, friends and neighbors stay on the SafeSide, behind the red line, to ensure their safety and the safety of the parade participants.

On the beautiful grounds of the Glenview Park Golf Club, 800 Shermer Rd., the Twilight Show begins with a patriotic concert by the 100-piece North Shore Concert Band. The show is climaxed by fireworks synchronized to patriotic music.
Access to the golf course grounds for the Twilight Show and fireworks is not permitted until 5 pm on July 4. Any blankets, tarps or tents, etc. set-up prior to 5:00 p.m. will be removed.
