Happy Birthday, Amelia Earhart!

Each camper got a blow-up globe to track Earhart’s different flights. They learned that Earhart flew at the Curtiss-Reynolds Airport in Glenview in the late 1920s and the early 1930s. The even got to decorate their own airplanes and test their flying skills.

The Glenview Park District is pleased to partner with the Bring It Home Glenview organization to introduce our children to the science of aviation and the fascinating history of their hometown.
