Glenview Farmers Market Hosts 'Food Patriots' Film Screening

It's nearly time for the Glenview Farmers' Market at Wagner Farm to launch its 2013 season — opening date is set for June 22, rain or shine. A complete vendor line-up can be found at glenviewfarmersmarket.org.

This Wednesday, the farmers market is hosting a screening of Food Patriots, a 50-minute documentary about "ordinary people taking control of food and creating healthier lives, a less polluted environment, a new sense of community and new jobs," the film's website describes.

The screening will be held on Wednesday  7:00 p.m. at the Wagner Farm Heritage Center, followed by an engaging discussion.
