Glenview Police Blotter: Speeding, Battery And More

GLENVIEW, IL—The following information comes from the Glenview Police Department and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced.
Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt.
NOTE: These charges occurred between Aug. 28 - Aug. 30.

SPEEDING
On Aug. 28 at 7:26 p.m., Daniel Kempf, 30, of Glenview, IL was arrested on the 1400 block of East Lake Avenue for Speeding (26-34 mph over the limit) and operating an uninsured motor vehicle following a traffic stop on the at that location. He was released after posting his driver’s license and assigned a court date of Sept. 30 at 10:30 a.m.

BATTERY
On Aug. 28 at 5:01 p.m., Salverone Wilson, 34, of Chicago IL was arrested in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road and charged with battery after an investigation of a complaint of battery at that location. He was released on a $1,000.00 I-Bond, and assigned a court date of Sept. 25 at 10:30 a.m.
NO VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
On Aug. 30 at 3:40 a.m., Rafael Patino, 47, of Wheeling, IL was arrested in the 800 block of Milwaukee Avenue and charged with no valid driver’s license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after investigation of a traffic crash at that location. He was released on a $3,000.00 I bond and assigned a court date of Oct. 14 at 1:30 p.m.
