Residents affected by April's flooding now have until July 24 to apply for federal flood relief aid.

The following report was provided by the Village of Glenview.
The deadline to apply for federal flood disaster aid for people affected by April flooding has been extended to July 24. The original registration deadline was July 9.
Illinois requested the extension Monday, July 1, to enable people affected by flooding in counties declared federal disaster areas — including Cook County — to seek grants and loans to help with their recovery.
